Emergency scanner traffic indicates that there has been a stabbing at Kent Institution, a maximum security prison just outside of Agassiz.
Ar about 1:45 p.m. on Friday (May 3), there were reports of an individual that had been stabbed 11 times.
A medical helicopter was launched. Two ambulances are on the scene. The Agassiz Fire Department is on the scene to deliver medical aid.
