Pedestrian seriously injured in rush-hour crash in Surrey

Roads now reopened after closures around 150 Street and 102 Avenue

A pedestrian was seriously injured in a collision with a vehicle in Surrey on Thursday (May 2).

The collision happened at 150 Street and 102 Avenue at 5:17 p.m., according to a Surrey RCMP press release.

Police report that one person with “significant injuries” was found at the scene.

The intersection was closed in all directions for hours as investigators worked to determine what had caused the crash. Police announced the roads had reopened shortly before 11 p.m.
